Whitetail Deer Hunting
The whitetail portion of the ranch is well known in our area for producing the largest deer in the state. The 2300 acres are a hunter’s paradise. You’ll see around 60 white tail deer and 6 bucks a day.
The average buck will score 130-140 pts with a few reaching 150 pts. The ranch has everything from timber, cottonwoods, buck brush, and CRP fields. There are also two creeks that run year round.
Spot and stalk is the main style for hunting with tree stands and blinds for backup.
Mule Deer Hunting
The Mule deer portion of the ranch is 5000 continuous acres of alfalfa, CRP and timber. We manage the land for quality deer. Last season we didn’t hunt the 5,000 acre ranch at all and saw many trophy quality bucks.
The ranch is fairly open, allowing us to use spot-and-stalk hunting. It’s not uncommon to see 60 deer in a single day; the average buck is between 20″ and 26″ spread.
A rifle deer tag means you can harvest a whitetail or a mule deer.
